Delhi is the capital of India, a city rich in history and culture. Delhi is not only an interesting place to visit but is also ideally located to travel to a lot of other worthwhile places to see in northern India. Delhi is known for it's excellent metro service so it's very easy to get from one place to another.
Delhi has a lot of insights into ancient history to offer so go out and explore by visiting the Red Fort & the Jama Masjid from the Mughal Emperors' period or Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial. Also New Delhi, laid out by the British, presents great sightseeing opportunities like the India Gate, and Rajpath Boulevard. New Delhi sightseeing

Day 3

Agra sightseeing

Agra, most popularly known for the Taj Mahal, is a favorite amongst travelers. Agra is known for its beautiful monuments, courtyards and mosques. The Agra fort is a lesser known but also beautiful sight you must visit during your stay in Agra. The whole city offers that incomparable Mughal vibe and therefore a trip to Agra is worth it.
After you arrive in Agra, spend the afternoon visiting the Agra Fort, a maze of courtyards, mosques & private chambers. Especially the Masjid Mosque echoes the story of the Mughal Empire and showcases the impressive skills of ancient Indian architects. With a visit to Mehtab Gardens on the other side of the river facing the Taj Mahal during sunset.

Jaisalmer

Thereafter, car for sightseeing in Jaisalmer along with an English speaking local guide.

The golden desert city of Jaisalmer is one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world and commands attention for its yellow-hued, imposing sandstone appearance, its beautiful old Havelis (mansions), colorful Temples and easy access to sand dunes.

While In other cities you can visit a Fort, this city is a Fort! So enter through the massive Gate and discover a paradise of Medieval Architecture, white marble Temples and narrow lanes with tiny shops. There are multiple attractions within the Fort. But we would recommend to just aimlessly walk around and explore.

Due to its numerous blue houses in the old part of Jodhpur, this city in the desert is often referred to as the “Blue City”. The second biggest city in Rajasthan is famous for the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest in India, and is an interesting old city to experience.
Your first check-off on your bucket list should be the colossal 15th century Mehrangarh Fort which stands 410 feet above the city and impresses with its thick walls and grand views of the desert. If you are an adrenaline junkie you should try out the zip lining experience from the top of the fort.

Day 13

Deogarh

Drive Jodhpur-Deogarh: 3.5 Hrs

Deogarh is a popular tourist destination, boasting a complex of luxurious heritage resorts managed by the erstwhile royal family of the Deogarh thikana.

Apart from the palace there is also a meter gauge train from Deogarh to Marwar Junction which goes through the sanctuary and hills of Kali Ghati, where there are many bridges and tunnels constructed by the British. There are many wild animals in the region, and the plains of Marwar are visible from atop the mountains.

In the heart of the town, is the Kunjbihari Mandir, which is famous for the many bats that live inside the roof of the building. There is one clock tower in the main central chowk (market) of the town at the top of Charbhuja Temple.

Anjaneshwar Mahadev temple is also nearby (around 4–5 km), which is famous for its Sivalinga which formed naturally as a result of rain water dissolving calcium in the rocks. It was formed similarly to the ice sivalinga of Amarnath Temple. The temple is in a mountain cave with a small water body on top of it. The area is a common destination for picnics, and has a view of Deogarh because of its elevation. Situated on the Deogarh–Bhilwara route, it is easily accessible throughout the year.

Udaipur
