At your arrival, our representative will welcome you at the arrival hall and will transfer you to Habarana.
On the way, there we will stop by at Dambulla Cave Temple, which consists of a complex of Buddhist images. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colourful frescoes, some of which dates back to over 2,000 years, which depicts Buddhist mythology, and the tales of the Buddha's previous births. This cave temple has the largest number of Buddha statues all housed in one place, including a 14 meter long, colossal figure of the recumbent Buddha.
The day will end with a relaxing Ayurveda treatment

Early in the morning, before the temperature gets too hot, you will climb Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most dramatic, inspiring and beautiful historical locations in the world. Sigiriya was built in 5th century as a fortress-palace. Worthy of being called the “8th wonder of the world” will astonish anyone with its outstandingly beautiful views, staggering engineering and peerless design, surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs, and other structures. It is also known for its ancient paintings.
In the afternoon you will visit Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s capital until the late 13th century. The most impressive ruins are the ancient sculptures of Lord Buddha at the Gal Viahara cut into granite stone dating back to the middle of the 12th century.

After breakfast we will transfer to Kandy. En-route you will visit the partially excavated ruins of an extensive Buddhist Monastery of Ritigala, nestled deep inside the Ritigala Strict Nature Reserve.
In the late afternoon you will enjoy the tipical Kandian dance show. Not to be missed in the same are is “Dalanda Maligawa”, the Temple of the Tooth. This important temple hosts the sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha, brought to Sri Lanka in 4th Century A.D. This sacred relic has ever since been the symbol of sovereignty for the Sinhalese kings and always enshrined in great splendor. Kandy’s Dalada Maligawa is a magnificent shrine, with decorative walls, golden roof and fine woodwork and its 16th to 19th century ambience still vividly alive.

Your trip will take you to Nuwara-Eliya today, the picturesque “Little England”.
Before leaving Kandy we will visit a typical market and admire the city from the Kandy View Point. On the way to Nuwara-Eliya we will stop at Ramboda waterfalls.
Moreover, you will adventure in a White Water Rafting in Kitulgala.

Early in the morning (05:00) you will start the trekking on Horton Plains, a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. This plateau at an altitude of 6,900-7,500 ft. is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region.
Once you come back from the trekking, you will catch a train to Ella, running through beautiful sceneries. Our driver will pick you up at the train station and drive you to Tissamaharama, stopping on the way at Ravana Waterfalls.

Today you will dive into nature with a safari in Yala National Park, famous for the high concentration of leopards.
Once you will be back from the safari we will start our journey to Unawatuna. On the way we will visit Devinuwara devalaya, a shrine dedicated to the God Vishnu who is said to be the guardian god of Buddhism. According to the legend, god Upulvan transfigured himself as a kihiri log and floated into the sea beach of the Devinuwara kingdom.
Just before reaching our destination, we will pay a visit to Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, originally built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and then further developed by the Dutch and the British.
Buildings of interest include the Dutch Reformed Church, All Saints Church, the lighthouse and bell tower. A maze of narrow roads lined with small houses, art galleries and shops with Dutch are characteristic of the fort. The thick, high ramparts that protect and distinguish the Fort are today used for romantic strolls

Very early in the morning we will drive you to Mirissa in order to join the Whale Watching tour.

Check out at noon and transfer to the airport for departure. Before reaching the airport, you will enjoy a city tour of Colombo.
