    This Sustainability Policy applies to all operations of Chaaliya Tours, including office management, tour  operations, supplier engagement, transport, and guest experiences. It is fully supported by top  management and communicated to all staff, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders. This document  represents the company’s official sustainability policy and is intended for public disclosure.

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Ensure sustainable and responsible tourism practices across all operations
  • Reduce environmental impacts including waste, energy, water, and resource
  • Consumption Support local communities and preserve cultural heritage
  • Promote ethical and fair economic practices
  • Ensure health, safety, and well-being of employees and stakeholders

3. Environmental Responsibility

3.1 Energy Reduction

Chaaliya Tours is committed to reducing energy consumption through practical and sustainable  measures, including:

  • Use of solar panels to generate renewable electricity
  • Use of energy-efficient equipment wherever possible
  • Encouraging responsible energy use in offices and operations
  • Regular monitoring of energy consumption to identify reduction opportunities

We are committed to responsible water use and conservation through:

Examples include: 

  • Locally sourced food for tour experiences such as the Three Temple Loop trekking
  • Lunches Fair-trade handicrafts and batik products from local artisans
  • Eco-friendly office supplies and reusable materials
  • All suppliers are expected to follow responsible labor and environmental practices. Supplier performance is considered during selection and ongoing cooperation.
